Update!

Hey Everyone!

Today is such a relaxing day, I have my music on in the living room and I am watching my cute fur babies sit sadly at the door because Ryan is in the garage and they want to join him. It's sad and cute that they miss him so much. I have been enjoying my break from school, I don't have to go back until the 18th so I still have one more week of freedom. Yay! I guess I will recap from my last post. It snowed in Kentucky for about 2 1/2 days so I got to enjoy the snow for longer than it ever is in Texas. When we left Texas for Kentucky it was 80 degrees so I didn't think to pack warm clothes or warm shoes that could possibly get snow on them... So on Christmas day while I was outside I had to wear my tennis shoes that did not match at all. :/ But luckily once we got to my Aunt and Uncle's house I was able to change into my suede boots. See below....

Ugly Nike tennis shoes. :)

So after we got back to lovely Texas I got to hang out with my besties from elementary school. It's crazy trying to get everyone together because we all live in different places and go to college in different cities. We cooked dinner together and then had ice cream and watched The Tourist. I fell asleep halfway through the movie so I didn't really know what was going on. I will have to finish that and let yall know how it was. Has anyone seen it already? I forgot to take pictures so I don't have any to show... :(
On New Years i had some friends over and we all celebrated the new year together! I had a little too much to drink so the next morning I didn't feel too hot, but other than that I had a good time. Desirea, Patrick and Gavin came over too so that was fun!

On New Years day we had my family christmas because my sister and her husband couldn't make it to Texas before then. I got some good presents and we had a delicious dinner made by my dad followed by some cake I made for the occasion. Yum!
The rest of the week was pretty uneventful and consisted of me catching up on shows and hanging out by myself while Ryan was at work.
Thursday we had to get Cali fixed and had to drive an hour away to a low cost facility. When we adopted her at the shelter they didn't charge anything you just have to prove that you got the pet fixed and they recommended the low cost place so that you only pay $50 opposed to $100. When we went to get her she was very out of it. It was so sad to see her mope around because she is usually so hyper and wants to play with everything and every other dog she sees.

Cali hanging her head out of her kennel. So sad.

Don't worry though, the next day she was back to her normal self and it's hard to stop her from running around and playing with Belle.

Typical day, Belle hissing at Cali and Cali trying to lick her. Haha.

Me and my girl.

Sweet Belle. :)

Yesterday Ryan was off work so we were able to go shopping and exchange this ring I got for Christmas from my sister. I had to go to the Coach store to get a bigger size but they didn't have the ring there so they had to order it for me. I am excited for it to be shipped to my house so I can wear it.

Me and Ryan before we went to the mall.

Last night we went over to Desirea and Patrick's house and had dinner and played some games. Desirea made Spinach, Avocado, and Chicken Enchiladas and they were really good but very filling. It was really funny when Gavin was trying to hold his own bottle so Desirea just let him and used a little pillow to prop it up for him. He is so cute!

Now i'm off to hang out with Ryan and help him put together a shelf for the garage. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Carmen

You have such a cute blog!! I love it! We had to get both of our dogs fixed and it was really sad. It's so hard to keep them still and quiet when they don't feel bad!
