Spring Love

Hey ladies!!

I am excited to share more pictures from my trip with everyone so I decided I would just make it what i'm loving and link up with Jamie! Head over here to link up today!

I'm loved my vacation. It was the perfect amount of time to get away from normal life and relax. I didn't have to worry about school or waking up at any particular time and that alone is worth a lot.

Me and Gavin matched! He loves his auntie!

Being cute!

Sticking out his precious tongue. :)

Ryan at breakfast, we had yummy donuts.

While we were there we went to a LAKERS game because Ryan and his entire family is seriously obsessed with the Lakers. I have to endure all 84ish games a year because he insists he must watch them ALL!

We were posing in front of the Staples Center.

I love this man!

Ryan and his brother Kyle at the ESPN set up outside the stadium.

We stood outside the Ritz that is by the stadium and players would come out and drive to the game. We had no idea that Kobe would show up. Kobe is Ryan's hero so he was really excited to see him that close up. Don't worry he didn't even look our way and was whisked into his Mercedes and drove by himself to the game.

Kyle, Kaily, Ryan, and me.

In our seats waiting for the game to start. They played the Orland Magic and won!

The Star Spangled Banner.

Announcing the Lakers!

It is so pretty at night.

We went to Disneyland on Tuesday and it was tons of fun. I didn't take many pictures because it was so crowded and my camera was in someone else's bag.. :(

Me and Ryan in front of the castle. It's crazy to notice how much smaller this castle is compared to the one at Disney World.

Posing in front of the mountain.

On Wednesday we hung out at Ryan's aunt's best friends house and she had a pretty outdoor space. They had orange trees, lemon trees, avocado trees and all of them were so pretty. We picked an orange off the tree and ate it and it was so good and juicy! I want one right now...

Gavin played with us for the day because his mommy and daddy went back to Disneyland without him. They wanted to do everything without a stroller. haha. He LOVES to jump and so he gets so excited when he is in his jumper.

On Thursday we went to the beach, but it was cold so we didn't get to lay out. I was still glad we went though. We picked many shells and I hope to do something with them soon. Any ideas???

True Love. <3

The birds were giving us a show. They made so many cool shapes and I was glad I got it on camera.

All bundled up at the beach. So ironic!!

And that is what i'm loving this beautiful wednesday!
It is almost 80 degrees today with a nice breeze!

Thanks for reading!! Next up are the details from the trip!

Dream Rooms

Hey girls!

I'm linking up with Taylor for Top Two Tuesday again this week. We are sharing our dream rooms and I love to think about what I would love to have in my home!

{1}
An Outdoor Living space

I love this one. I have always wanted an outdoor gazebo and an outdoor fireplace. The comfy furniture seems very inviting too. I would also love a really nice grill so I could cook yummy steaks!

This one is pretty because of the pool. I don't really want a pool because they are hard work and there are two that I can go to without putting in the effort. haha.

I love the grill and the waterfalls on the wall. It is very contemporary and I love it.

I hope to make an outdoor living space in my backyard. I obviously can't afford to make a very luxurious one like these, but I would love to get a patio set and we already have a fire pit.

{2}
Master Bedroom

I love the creamy yellow and the four poster bed. I have always wanted a bed like this. The comfy couch makes the room even more inviting.

I love the brick wall behind the bed!

I love sheet around the bed.

Our master bedroom has IKEA furniture right now because I bought it right out of high school and couldn't afford anything else, but it is the room we worry least about. We know that when we have guests over we can shut the door and forget about it. Hopefully soon we will be able to afford to get a nice bedroom set!

Thanks for reading and come back tomorrow for more pictures form my vacation!

Love,
Carmen

Monday Catch-up

Happy Spring!!

I'm linking up for Miscellany Monday over here. Link up and join in on the fun.

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Well, I'm back from my spring break vacation and sadly back at school too. :( I had a really fun trip and took tons of pictures so I will space them out so you don't have a photo overload. The wedding was really fun and so was the rehearsal dinner. I love getting dressed up and wearing dresses so these were the perfect occasions for doing just that.

I wore my new dress and boots to the rehearsal dinner that was in Burbank, CA at the historical museum. Ryan's uncle is the president so we were the only people there and he gave us a tour, which was fun.

A cool plane.

Old cars

Ryan being silly posing like Bob's Big Boy. :)

Me posing with the fire truck.

An old Rolls Royce. So pretty.

The next day was the wedding and it was so beautiful.

Announcing the newlyweds!

Our place cards.

The beautiful flowers on the tables.

Chocolates on the table.

Us. I really like this one. :)

Our table.

The cute couple.

My drink of choice. Vodka Sprite. They had an open bar...enough said. haha.

Dancing the night away.

On another note while we were having a good vacation my pets decided to tear apart my school bag. :(

RIP Longchamp...

Notice it is no longer connected...

The straps that are torn apart.

Where the straps used to be...

I was really mad about this when we got home at 1 AM after a delayed flight and found the pieces all over the house... So today I had to carry my stuff to school and hopefully will be able to get a new bag soon. I was mostly upset because of the cost of the bag and so now I have to decide if I want to buy another one or get a different bag.

On a seriously sad note I found out that one of my old Sunday School teachers has gone to be with the Lord after a blood clot from surgery. :( He was the sweetest man and would always make an effort to check up on me and let me know him and his wife were thinking of me at least once a month. I can't imagine what his family must be going through. I know he is in a better place with the Lord but I know that he will be greatly missed. RIP David Shaver. :'(

Please say a prayer for his family in this time of grief.

Thanks for reading. Sorry to end this on a depressing note but I will be back tomorrow with more pictures so come back and visit!

Love,
Carmen
