Top 2 Tuesday: New Years Resolutions

Well it's been a while since I participated in Top 2 Tuesday so I thought it would be the perfect post to join back in. These probably aren't very unique but it's things that I actually want to get accomplished this year in 2011.

1: Loose some weight
Ok, I know everyone says this to start out the new year and then quits two weeks into the year, but I really want to try to keep this one up. I have put on some weight that I don't think my body should have. I don't really think I'm "fat" I just don't feel comfortable with myself like I should feel and I want to get that feeling back. My plan is to start running everyday, although I can't promise anything on the weekends. :) I also would like to eat a little healthier, but not go on a diet. Diets only work for me if I never stop doing them and I know that I will stop doing them. Haha.

And if these old people can do it then I know I can keep it up for a little while at least. :)

2: Declare a major and feel happy about it.
I am having some troubles choosing something that I want to major in. I don't want to choose the wrong thing and be stuck doing something I hate for the rest of my life. I am considering advertising as a major and will know by next semester hopefully if I enjoy it as much as I think I might now. This is a huge decision and I know I can always change my mind, but I like having a plan and I don't like change. That is probably something I should be working on this year as well.

Maybe I need this book to help me decide. :)

Merry Christmas!

Hey everyone!

I know it has been forever since I have posted but I have just been so super busy. I promise when I get back from my trip I will begin to post more frequently. I am currently in Kentucky with my parents and one sister visiting family. Both of my parents families live in Kentucky so it is a tradition to come up here every year and visit with everyone. We are having a white christmas this year with about 4 inches of snow and it is beautiful. Tomorrow I plan on making a snowman and enjoying the snow that I never get to experience in Texas. We had family christmas with my mom's side of the family last night and then had our own Christmas eve service at my granny's house since the snow was pretty bad and we didn't want my grandparents out in it driving to the service at the church. My cousin sang with his guitar and we read the Christmas story and sang a couple traditional christmas songs. It was interesting with all the harmonies going on since my uncles and cousins are all singers. Today we are at my dad's side and we had lunch and played "Dirty Santa" but with good gifts. I stole this cross I wanted and I am excited to add it to my cross wall. Tomorrow should be filled with shopping and hopefully I will get some good stuff! Here are some pictures over the past couple weeks since I have been M.I.A. Oh and by the way, I got a dog about a month ago and her name is Cali, I will post some pictures when I get a new camera cord since she chewed on my cord and ruined it.....
